Abstract

The NATCCO Leadership and Management Program is a five-day, multi-module course primarily developed by NATCCO with the help of Bayan Academy that aims to hone the staff and employee knowledge on practical methods of developing case studies and training materials on cooperative management. This handout is created to aid the program participants not only in their visualization of the case writing process but also in their formulation of appropriate and effective training programs for their target beneficiaries. Some topics on conceptualization of effective training programs like role playing and dramatization, game-based and online learning, and creativity exercises are discussed here in great detail to assist future field trainers in inventing new ways of instruction for the appreciation coop members. Moreover, this material holds a number of readings, lecture notes, and references used throughout the development program which can be a source material for anyone who would like to replicate or implement the same kind of training for their trainees of interest.
