A. Introduction


The NATCCO Network values your privacy and trust. It complies with the 2012 Data Privacy Act of the Republic of the Philippines,  its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other relevant policies, including issuances of the National Privacy Commission.


The NATCCO Network  (referred herein as “NATCCO”, “we”, “us” and “our”) respects and values your data privacy rights, and makes sure that all personal data collected from our members, vendors, partners, employees, affiliates and other stakeholders, are processed in adherence to the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.


This Privacy Policy explains:

 We keep your data only for as long as necessary:

1. For the fulfillment of the declared, specified, and legitimate purposes provided above, or when the processing relevant to the purpose has been completed or terminated;

2. For the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or

3. For other business purposes that are consistent with standards established or approved by regulatory agencies governing NATCCO.


Thereafter, your personal data shall be disposed of or discarded in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party or the public.

If you wish to withdraw your consent given for any or all purposes set out in this Policy, you may send your detailed request to dpo@natcco.coop. Depending on the nature of your consent withdrawal, NATCCO may not be in a position to continue to provide our products and services to you

We employ physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to your information. We choose these safeguards based on the sensitivity of the information that we collect, process and store and the current state of technology. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, the Internet is not 100% secure so we cannot assure you that information we collect or store will be protected from all unauthorized access and thereby used in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

Our websites may contain hyperlinks and details of third party websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies and practices of third parties. We therefore advise you to study their privacy policy. In compliance with the DPA  of 2012 and this Privacy Policy, A Data Protection Officer for NATCCO has been appointed to manage and safeguard the handling of your Personal Data. NATCCO's management is committed to ensure that its Privacy Management Program is constantly reviewed, monitored and enhanced.


NATCCO regards personal data breaches very seriously.


M. Updates to the Policy


NATCCO will amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. NATCCO may also update this policy to

apply changes due to new laws and regulation affecting the DPA of 2012, changes in our business operations and environment.

Any updates of changes will be posted on NATCCO's website so that you are informed of the latest Policy update.

All requests, demands or notices which you may send or submit to us under this Policy must be in writing, should be delivered to the Data Protection Officer using the contact details above, and will be deemed duly given (i) on the date of delivery if delivered personally, (ii) on the third Business Day following the date of sending if delivered by a nationally recognized next-day courier service and the service has confirmed delivery, or (iii) if given by electronic mail, when such electronic mail is transmitted to the email address specified above and the appropriate confirmation has been received by the sender via email.
