Abstract

DID MFI/ DESS is a tool developed by the Development International Desjardins to act as a technological help to assess and evaluate financial viability of organizations, especially those who are involved in microfinance and lending institutions. It aims not only to give DID MFI/ DESS users a more sophisticated way of monitoring the organizational progress but also a management system to organize and collect financial reports and transactions.

In that regard, this manual was specifically formulated as a resource to help technical staff, legal authorities, partner donors and agencies of cooperative groups  in reading, analysis, understanding and interpretation of DID MFI/ DESS reports generated from the software. However, it does not, in any way, purposively explains how to input, navigate, and code data into the DID-developed data system.
