This manual aims to assist and guide trainers on how to educate those who are planning to or currently running agricultural cooperatives. In particular, this training material published by ILO as part of their MATCOM program focuses on the intricacies of handling the farm supply service of an agri-cooperative. Divided into two compilations, this supply management trainer’s manual acts as an effective, procedural guide in facilitating and delivering effective “participatory learning” activities that trainees would appreciate.
This first half of the trainer’s manual contains learning kits and session activities on five topics including the definition and functions of cooperative supply service, proper selection of products, careful selection of suppliers, computation of basic economic quantities, and practice of ordering and receiving goods. Every topic are classified into “sessions” and each session has a suggested set of objectives, activities, as well as suggested materials for use.
