Abstract

Supply management does not only involve itself in the process of buying or acquiring materials and services, but it is also concerned with the preparation of logistical needs for production and management of business inventory. In fact, it is a very vital practice that, if observed by businesses or similar groups involved in trading, like agricultural cooperatives, would financially benefitting from the production of good and services.

In general, this second half of the manual enables trainers to master and deliver activities and programs related to supply management for the purpose of educating agricultural cooperatives. It is divided into several key sections which provide a comprehensive rundown of activities per session. Its scope of topics spans from the practice of checking and receiving goods, use of order and delivery systems, up to valuation and promotion of the products made by the agri-coops. It also includes some important courses on product pricing and issuing and invoicing coop goods from suppliers that may help them with maximizing their resources for production.

Tips on how to facilitate the suggested activities, including the necessary materials and methods, are all provided as well.
