In compliance with the ISO standards, NATCCO documented and published a manual dedicated for the description and explanation of the company's overall management from quality, environmental, health, and safety. The Integrated Management Systems (IMS) is purposefully divided into four sub-manuals with each manual focusing on overall IMS, procedures, forms, and job descriptions respectively.
The Procedures Manual, unlike its other accompanying manuals, focuses more on the internal processes observed by the different departments or functioning bodies that comprise NATCCO. This material could be used to have an extensive idea on how each department work under a given circumstance, from start to finish. Specifically, it discusses the company's main goals, mission, and vision, as well as how these agendas translate into existing IMS-based internal policies and how they are carried out by each department. In fact, each section contains the name of procedure, its respective objectives and scope, as well as the definition of terms and the framework of the procedure.
This Procedures Manual could also act as a guide for auditors, top-level management, or third- party consultants who wish to improve the existing policies for efficiency and better institutional performance. Likewise, it can offer the stakeholders, partner agencies, and the public an idea on how NATCCO works or delivers as a company.
