This Instructor's Manual is part of the series of entrepreneurial training materials developed by Bayan Academy and Center for Community Transformation for the Entrep-Eskwela program. The program seeks to provide knowledge and skill-building activities that would equip participants with the proper entrepreneurial character, values, and thinking. This training manual primarily focuses on the basics of marketing, from its concepts up to its methods and practice. Specifically, this manual, divided into seven separate modules, covers topics that include an introduction to marketing, market profiling, and the 4Ps of the marketing mix. The first of the modules explains the importance of marketing to business and how "value" is created for the customers. On the other hand, the second module explores the customer's needs and wants through Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and how these prioritization in needs affects their choice among brands of the same product. The latter parts of the manual adds up to the discussion of the first two parts by introducing the 4P's in marketing mix which can help current or aspiring entrepreneurs in determining the most effective way for them to sell their business.
