PASAY CITY - ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative has been honored by the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) as one of the ‘Outstanding Non-Agri-Based Cooperative’. This prestigious accolade is part of the Diamond Awards, which celebrates key contributors to national development.
The award was presented by LBP President, Ms. Lynnette V. Ortiz, and was received by ACDI Chairperson, Ret. General Gilbert Llanto, during LBP’s Appreciation Night for Clients and Partners held at the Philippine International Convention Center on August 8.
ACDI MPC is based in Taguig City. The co-op operates 122 branches nationwide to serve its members comprising 242,292 military personnel. ACDI MPC is the largest co-operative in the Philippines in terms of Assets, amounting to Php 45.75 Billion as of December 2022.
In 1981, 26 Philippine Air Force Cadet Alumni established the Aces Credit Cooperative Development Inc. (ACCDI) with initial capital of Php 200,000 in a small, shared office space in Nichols Air Base.
ACDI MPC is primarily into credit and savings, but engages in other business ventures as well, including agriculture, travel and tours.
Representatives from big business and high government officials attended the event, including the former CEOs and Presidents of Landbank, and the former Governor of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and now the Secretary of Department Finance, Benjamin Diokno.
