Understanding the need for capacity building among their IRF personnel, the ACDC/ DA Integrated Rural Financing Program of the Land Bank of the Philippines has conducted a seminar entitled Enterprise Development and Management Course from October 2 to 6, 2006. The course aims to give the participants a brief overview of the ins and outs of the business - from the inputs, process, up to the outputs.

Covered in this material are few basic concepts and knowledge discussed among the participants during the seminar. Some of the topics include the definition, purpose, and impact of entrepreneurship, characteristics and makings of an entrepreneur, business production processes, marketing, and enterprise opportunity identification.
