Abstract

Are leaders born or created? How does leadership rooted on personality? Is a leader any different from a manager? In order to motivate members, flourish the group, and move forward, effective leadership is a must. Recognizing such need for these exceptional leaders, Bayan Academy, in partnership with NATCCO, made a compilation of resources that answer queries and provide practical tips on leadership for its training development program. But unlike any other leadership program, this material contains a short introduction on whole brain learning, accompanied by MBTI personality and temperament tests that can aid individuals in learning their own unique managerial and leadership styles. Moreover, this material briefly explains the facets of inspirational and transformational types of leadership, gives insights on qualities of a good leader, and presents life stories of notable figures in leadership.

This training intends to impart learning to help individuals, especially coop leaders and members, to realize their strength in leading groups and to educate them on how to direct people with technical expertise on cooperative operations and outmost sensitivity on member needs.
