Abstract

This material gives an overview of the compliance seminar provided by NATCCO on labor code and other related laws that protect both the rights and interests of the employer and the employee, as well as set the tone for moral/ legal obligations and responsibility of an operating business. From compensation, to employee obligations, the seminar tackled a number of topics in several parts - specifically those about labor principles, unfair labor practices, life of a labor case, and disposition of labor cases. Terminologies and practical applications of each law based on given contexts (case-to-case basis) are also defined, explained, and provided in the simplest of terms possible. Aside from those mentioned, the material also touches on law provisions for those employees who qualify as women, PWD, solo parent, or the underaged.
