One of the immediate needs raised by the co-op members, staff, and leaders is to equip them with basic counseling skills. We believe that counseling is a skill that can be learned and sharpened. Counseling is also a sustainable way to develop and retain quality members and help them build mental and emotional resilience. In this regard, we invite you to a Basic Counseling for Cooperatives (Batch 3) on May 25-27, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The online training divided into six sessions will delve into the following:
1. Assisting members using the 3 Ps Framework - Psycho-emotional, Psychosocial, and Psycho spiritual
2. The roles of the counselors
3. Group processing and therapeutic factors
4. Online counseling in the age of social media
5. Relational counseling
6. Crisis and crisis counseling
7. Application of the learning to co-op's realities with the members
The registration fee for the six sessions is P4,800 Handouts and worksheets will be provided. Certificate of Completion in digital format will be awarded as well.
Suggested participants are CEO, Membership Department, HR, Education Committee, and OF Focal Persons and those who interact regularly with the members.
The training will be conducted by the licensed Psychologists with expertise in family and marriage counseling.
