NATCCO Maintains Three ISO Certifications

After rigorous auditing of NATCCO’s operations and procedures by auditing firm TUV SUD Philippines on February 16, NATCCO has maintained its three ISO Certifications.
ISO certification is a third-party, independent validation that an organization complies with international standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and environmental management set by the International Organization for Standardization. It proves a business organization follows established processes, improves credibility, enhances customer satisfaction, and boosts operational efficiency.

NATCCO first obtained its ISO certifications in 2008.

The three ISO certifications are ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&S).

Quality Management is concerned primarily to check whether processes and procedures are in accordance with policies – assuming there are written policies in the first place. In cooperative terms, there should be a connection between the Vision/Mission of NATCCO with its policies and procedures.

Environmental Management System ensures that NATCCO operations minimize or do not harm the environment. Practices in place include minimal use of paper, electricity, water, minimizing usage of fossil fuels (by keeping vehicles well-maintained according to schedule), segregation of garbage output, and minimization – if not elimination – of garbage.

Occupational Health & Safety Management ensures that NATCCO operates without endangering staff and clients, and in case of accidents, there are established responses.
TÜV SÜD has served as the third party inspector/auditor and certifying body for NATCCO’s ISO certification for more than a decade.
