Leading with Excellence: NATCCO Renews Three ISO Certifications
QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — As the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) prepares to mark its golden anniversary, the organization has once again demonstrated its commitment to institutional excellence, sustainable operations, and worker well-being. Following a comprehensive integrated management system repeat-audit conducted from September 2 to September 4, 2026, by third-party certification body TÜV SÜD at its Quezon City headquarters, NATCCO successfully secured the renewal of its Integrated Management System (IMS) across three international standards:
- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System (QMS)
- ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System (EMS)
- ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&SMS)
This successful renewal continues a remarkable streak: NATCCO has continuously maintained ISO certification since 2008, establishing an 18-year legacy of setting the standard for the cooperative sector.
The multi-day audit evaluated NATCCO across a wide scope of operations. The TÜV SÜD audit team, led by Marijane Comaling alongside Brenda Estonanto, Maria Gwendolyn Bruno-RED, and Xavier Lance Dy, assessed critical operational areas. These included Treasury and Credit Services, Digital Solutions and IT Operations, Payment Services, Training and Consultancy through the Cooperative Academy of NATCCO (CAN), Microfinance (MICOOP), and the Stabilization Fund Mechanism.
