Leyte Co-ops Oppose Tax Exempt Repeal

MAASIN CITY – The Maasin City Cooperative Development Council (MCCDC) conducted a local press conference with local print & broadcast media, cooperative leaders in Maasin City & Southern Leyte after the "Show of Force" to voice out their collective objections to the bills which seek to repeal coops' tax exemption priveleges granted under RA 9520 - The Cooperative Code of 2008.  They braved the rains during the parade participated by around 400 micro, small, medium & large coop leaders.
