Membership in NATCCO

NATCCO as an umbrella organization for cooperatives is accepting direct membership from primary cooperatives pursuant to the approval of the amendments of its by-laws by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in 2004 and its membership guidelines by the Board of Directors on June 25, 2005. NATCCO accepts two types of membership, regular and associate.

  • Regular Membership - open to all cooperatives that are principally engaged in Savings and Credit Business and all secondary cooperatives. Regular members shall have access to all Social Affairs, Business, Development, Technical, Financial, Marketing, Legal and Linkaging Services of the Network and Right of Participation in the Governance of the Network. Membership Fee of Php. 2,000 shall be required.  The applicant shall subscribe for at least 100 common shares valued at Php. 1, 000 each. At least 25% of the subscribed shares shall be paid upon the approval of the application for membership. However, no member shall own or hold more than 20% of the total paid-up common shares of NATCCO.
  • Associate Membership - open to  all other types of cooperatives and NGOs with juridical personality engaged in micro-finance. Associate members shall have access to all Social Affairs, Business, Development, Technical, Financial, Marketing, Legal and Linkaging Services of the Network. Membership Fee of Php. 2,000 shall be required. A minimum qualifying share of Php. 20,000 which shall be credited as Preferred shares in NATCCO.

Our services include savings, loans, investments, money transfer (Western Union), automatic teller machines (ATM), Training & Consultancy, information technology (IT), including   software development specifically developed for cooperative operations, website development and hosting, training, financial education and savings for students in partnership with DepEd (Aflatoun Program), Gender Equality Program, housing coops, coop marts, funeral care services, and many more.

Cooperatives that wish to affiliate with a national federation may join the NATCCO NETWORK and access the linkages, products and services of our federation and be one with us in achieving our mission of building the socio-economic capabilities of cooperatives.

  • Articles of Cooperation/incorporation

  • 3 years audited FS & Latest interim FS
  • List of BOD, Officers & GM/CEO
  • Latest Annual Report
